Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident about your purchase
If something goes wrong with your purchase or the product does not work as described, please tell us. We will help you identify the issue and direct you to the correct seller or checkout support channel.
Who handles your payment and refund?
The purchase channel matters:
- Polar checkout: If your order was paid through Polar, Polar is the merchant of record for that transaction and ordinarily processes any approved refund to the original payment method. Please consult the order confirmation and Polar Buyer Terms: https://polar.sh/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
- Etsy: If you purchased a printable or other product on Etsy, use the order’s Etsy support process. The seller, platform and applicable terms for that order govern the payment and refund process, subject to your legal rights.
Meansway can assist with product troubleshooting and help locate the appropriate support route at [email protected].
How to request help or a refund
Write to [email protected] with your order number, the product name and a short description of what happened. If you purchased through Etsy, you may also contact us through the relevant Etsy order. Please do not email access codes, licensing credentials, full payment-card numbers or private financial figures.
If you ask for a refund, we will tell you which seller handles the transaction and assist as appropriate. An approved refund is generally returned by the payment seller through its checkout process and payment provider.
If you purchased an eligible one-time Meansway app through Polar, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase. You do not need to give a reason. Email [email protected] with your order number. Any approved refund will be processed through Polar to your original payment method, subject to payment-network processing times. This voluntary policy does not reduce your statutory rights.
Digital purchases and legal withdrawal rights
Your statutory cancellation, withdrawal and digital-content remedies depend on the laws that apply to your purchase. For relevant EU/EEA digital-content purchases, a withdrawal right does not disappear merely because a file or app is delivered immediately; the applicable rules on prior express consent, acknowledgment of losing the right and contractual confirmation must be satisfied. Any voluntary refund policy is separate from these legal rights.
After an approved refund
Where access is tied to an implemented and tested individual entitlement, that entitlement may end after a refund, subject to the sale terms and legal rights.
Holiday Check after a refund
When a full refund is approved, the license key for that purchase is revoked through Polar. A partial refund does not revoke the license key.
Holiday Check checks its license key when it starts or reconnects while online, at most once a day. Once the application successfully confirms that a key is no longer active, that key is removed from the browser and access to the application is no longer available using it.
Because Holiday Check also works offline, a device that has previously activated the application may continue to open it until a later online license check confirms the revocation. If the check cannot be completed, the application may continue opening under its offline-access rules.
Your saved plan remains in that browser unless you or the browser removes it. Where Holiday Check can still read the saved plan, the license key screen provides an Export my plan option so that you can keep a copy without reopening the application.
This export is available only in the browser where the plan is stored. Clearing that browser’s site data may permanently remove the saved plan and prevent its export.
Your rights remain protected
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights under the laws applicable to your purchase, including remedies where digital content is faulty, incorrectly described or not supplied.
